FlowDesk

Every tool shows what moved. This one shows what was being bought.

FlowDesk scores every options print on the tape, shows the working behind each score, and publishes how those calls actually did — losses included.

01 The problem

A score is only useful if you can argue with it

Most flow tools hand you a number and a colour. If you cannot see what built the number, you cannot tell a real signal from a handful of trades in a thin contract — and you find out which it was after you are in.

The usual flow dashboard

  • A score with no working shown
  • Green everywhere, because green sells
  • Wins in the marketing, losses nowhere
  • No level to enter at, no level to be wrong at
  • A method described as proprietary

FlowDesk

  • Two weighted components, each shown with its own real contribution
  • Colour is data: green and red mean bullish and bearish, nothing else
  • Every published call resolved and counted, win or lose
  • Real setups carry an options-tape wall and a moving-average invalidation
  • The 62/38 weighting is published on How it works

So what does that look like when you actually open it?

02 Inside the desk

Four screens, one question

Where did the money actually go today, and does it still make sense at this price?

The tape

Every scored name, ranked by composite, with real call/put contract volume alongside it. A read built on real, meaningful volume looks no different on this page from one built on a handful of trades — the volume is right there, not hidden behind the score.

NTWKTechnology+100no volume
MNYSector unknown+100no volume
LITSSector unknown+100570 contracts
PTNBiotechnology+100no volume
CRDFBiotechnology+100711 contracts

Setups

A name only gets a card when it has a real options-tape wall (the strike holding the most open interest) and a real moving average sitting on the losing side of the trade. Lose either level and the card leaves the page — there is no target and no position size, because this app stores neither.

No name currently has both a real options-tape wall and a moving average on the losing side of the trade.

Earnings flow

The next 10 days of real reporting names, with the real tape composite reading into each print. Flow into a print is positioning, not a forecast of the number — the page says so on the page.

Alerts

Real rules on a symbol's composite, price, or confidence — crossing above, below, or through a level you choose. Every rule is per-symbol; there is no whole-tape or sector-wide rule yet.

Composite crosses a levelFires when a symbol's score moves above, below, or through a threshold you set
Price crosses a levelA real price alert, same above/below/crosses directions
Confidence crosses a levelGet told when the read itself gets more (or less) trustworthy

Fair question at this point: does any of it work?

03 Does it work

The real hit rate, published on purpose

Every prediction FlowDesk makes is recorded the moment it is made and checked against the real forward price once the horizon elapses — automatically, by the same cron job that scores every symbol. Nothing here is curated, and a bad stretch shows up on this page the same day it happens.

Weekly hit rate, real data4h horizon

Real weekly hit rate at the 4h horizon, last 5 checked weeks. Dashed line is 50% — a coin flip. Latest: Week of 2026-09-14 · 18% · n=20239.

The method behind those numbers is not a secret either.

04 How a score gets made

Two components, none of them hidden

  1. Read the chain

Every contract on the options chain, split into calls and puts, by what traded today and by what was already on the books.

  2. Score the flow

Volume bias and open-interest bias, blended 62/38 into one composite between -100 and +100, each shown separately so you can disagree with either.

  3. Mark the result

Every published call is resolved against the real forward price and added to the track record above, wins and losses alike.

06 Before you ask

Questions people actually send

Do I need to connect a broker?

No. FlowDesk reads the public options tape. It never touches your account, and there is nothing to authorise.

Is the composite the whole score?

Yes — two real, weighted components (volume bias and open-interest bias, blended 62/38), nothing hidden behind them. See How it works for the exact formula.

Is this financial advice?

No. It is research. FlowDesk reads flow, does not know your position size, and has no idea what you can afford to lose. Real setups show a real invalidation level precisely because being wrong is part of the plan.

What happens when I create a free account?

You get the Free plan's real daily API allowance — the desk, tape, and track record are already fully readable without an account at all.

Where does the data come from?

The public options tape and public earnings calendars. Every prediction this app makes is recorded the moment it is made and checked against the real forward price — see the track record above.
